AB-CT was established in 2016 as a spin-off of the Institute of Medical Physics at the University of Erlangen (FAU) headed by Prof. Willi A. Kalender. Willi Kalender is well-known for his outstanding research achievements in the field of diagnostic imaging, especially the spiral CT technology.
